Technical Lead - Java, Sweden

JOB DESCRIPTION:

A competent Java Technical Lead with 7+ years of experience and having sound technical knowledge on Java/J2EE, EJB, JSF, JMS. Should possess excellent verbal & written communication skills.

KEY ACTIVITIES WILL BE AS BELOW:

- To technically lead the projects through all stages of the life cycle, including responsibility for requirements capture, design, development and acceptance testing
- To attend daily status calls with customer and share project updates
- To provide estimates to the Change Requests or any Enhancement projects
- To produce high quality technical documentation (HLD/LLD)
- To help team in removing their roadblocks in Change Requests implementation & resolution of Support tickets
- To ensure SLAs are met for support tickets
- To identify problems/issues with the current application and carry out root cause analysis of the same for their permanent fix
- To coach/mentor junior members in the team
- To undertake development tasks without supervision, including design & coding
- To monitor team's progress and provide updates to the Project Manager
- To understand and apply a formal quality process in project implementations

MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE OF CURRENT JAVA TECHNOLOGIES AND METHODOLOGIES, AND HANDS-ON EXPERIENCE IN THE FOLLOWING:

- Java/J2EE, JMS: MUST HAVE
- JSF, JSP: MUST HAVE
- EJB 1.2: MUST HAVE
- JAXB: MUST HAVE
- Spring (Scheduler, MVC etc.): MUST HAVE
- SQL, DB2: MUST HAVE
- ANT: MUST HAVE
- JUNIT: MUST HAVE
- IBM MQ: MUST HAVE
- Good Communication skills: MUST HAVE
- Experience in application debugging via log files & code: MUST HAVE
- ICE Face Framework: GOOD TO HAVE
- Should have worked on applications deployed on WebSphere environment: GOOD TO HAVE
- Jenkins/Hudson: GOOD TO HAVE
- SVN: GOOD TO HAVE
