Technical Lead for ESX/VM Engineering and Linux - VP - 70-75K+ Benefits + Bonus

A global market leader in trade processing and financial data and information services is looking to hire their Technical Lead for Linux and VMware/ESX Systems Engineer to join their growing global infrastructure services function. The role is multidimensional and the engineer will be involved in the design, build, document and maintenance/support of ESX 4.x/5 clusters in a customer facing environment. The engineer will also design, build, maintain and support Linux (RHEL & OEL) systems globally.

Ideal skill set:
* VMWare/ESX - 4.x / 5 clusters - Engineering Standards
* Linux - Red Hat (4/5/6) / OracleEnterpriseLinux - Engineering Standards
* HP Hardware - x86
* EnterpriseArchitecture - networking/load balancing/ldap/dns
* Systems Administration and Documentation
* NetApp Storage - 2000/3000/filers

This role requires the engineer to be highly analytical, with the ability to prioritise production, client facing and engineering issues. The company is a technologically driven organisation so this role will give a technologist with good client and business facing skills the opportunity to help define standards and help support a business critical financial services infrastructure.
