TECHNICAL LEAD - DELPHI PROGRAMMING

On behalf of our client, a well renowned Global IT Company, we are currently looking for experienced Technical lead with DELPHI experience for a contract roles base in Zurich- Switzerland.

TASKS:

. Responsible for development, support, maintenance and implementation of a complex project module.

. Works on problems of complex scope, through extensive usage of standard concepts and principles.

. Works as a fully contributing team member, under broad guidance with independent planning and execution responsibilities.

. Requires extensive knowledge of at least one development technology/programming language.

. Expected to continue to build upon domain knowledge and technical/proprietary skills to reach levels of expertise, while adapting standard principles to new or changed conditions in day to day work.

. Has the ability to respond to detailed queries.

. Applies own judgment to independently determine a course of action, which is then executed independently post review.

. Responsible for coaching, guiding and mentoring junior members in the team to help them scale up faster.

TECHNICAL SKILLS ( MUST HAVE )

. Fundamentals of Delphi

. Declarations and initializations for loop, nested for loop, for In loop, while and repeat loop, if conditions, case statements, error handling

. Different classes, data types, date, numbers

. Should know database connectivity like BDE, ADO.

. Should know to compile, run and build application, should know to debug and trouble shoot.

. Total relevant work experience desired, 6-8 years

ADVANTAGE:

. Knowledge of RDBMS (Relational Database Management System) concepts.

. Knowledge on creating low to medium level of database queries in SQL(Structured Query Language)

. Experience programming in a high level programming language (C, C++,Java e.t.c).

. Basic understanding of Embedded SQL in a high level programming language.

. Knowledge of UNIX/Linux operating system.
