Technical Lead - Application Architect Job

TECHNICAL LEAD - APPLICATION ARCHITECT needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in New York, NY.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Provide architectural and technical leadership on developing next generation platform that will replace the Legacy TIBCO/Struts based platform.
- Provide technology leadership in creating innovative technology solutions to unique customer needs and to effectively communicate/document the current and future platforms' technical details/capabilities
- Provide leadership on emerging technologies, market trends, industry standards and best practices in architecture and design roadmap for next generation platform

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Minimum ten (10+) years of enterprise application architecture, design and development experience using Java/J2EE and related technologies
- Proven track record on working as a Technical architect/Lead
- Thorough understanding of data modelling and experience with Oracle
- Self-motivated with good time management, multi-tasking ability, Exceptional communication, influencing and persuasion skills
- Strong knowledge/experience on Java 1.6 and 1.7 (1.8 is a plus)/new features of Java 1.6 and 1.7 (1.8 is a plus)
- Strong knowledge/experience on OO concepts, [GoF] Design patterns
- Strong knowledge/experience on JMS
- Strong knowledge/experience on Java concurrency package and semantics, concurrency management strategies, JVM semantics and optimizations strategies
- Strong knowledge/experience on Transaction management semantics and related strategies and tools
- Knowledge/experience on Java WS (1.6 and above. Spring WS or other frameworks are fine)
- Strong knowledge/experience Spring JDBC, AOP, Interceptors, Integration and further
- Knowledge/experience on Apache Camel
- Knowledge/experience on JavaScript, AJAX, JQuery, HTML 5 (MUST) and preferably GWS
- Knowledge/experience on RESTFULL services
- Knowledge/experience on Hessian
- Strong knowledge/experience on Rule Engines - JRule, IBM BPM (and or TIBCO business events)
- Strong knowledge/experience UML

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Knowledge/experience on TIBCO BW/BE/Iprocess to able to read the code and extract business logic
- Strong knowledge/experience on EAI/EIP (big plus)
- Knowledge/experience on BPR
- Knowledge/experience on "Linear/Constrain Programming"
- Knowledge/experience on JOptimiser
- Knowledge of OTC financial products
- Knowledge of Advisory and non-Advisory business on CB WpHG, EMIR, MaComp and etc.
