This major player in the Global Banking and Finance sector is looking for a .NET Technical Lead in their Dublin office. The .NET Technical Lead will be part of an exciting and growing team with a strong possibility for long term contract extensions.
City Centre location. Easily accessible via public transport
6 month Contract role. Potential for long term
Opportunity to influence exciting IT Finance projects
Roles and Responsibilities:
Work with the Project Manager to manage complex, global, enterprise-level projects, including design, development, implementation, risk and control.
Responsible for leading a software development team of up to 15 people.
Manage business/client relationships with the senior business leaders associated with this project;
build and sustain strong relationships with these client groups.
Work with the development teams and the Application and Domain architects in design and product selection.
Ensure we have buy-in from all the stakeholders and track issues and manage project risks.
Oversee development quality to ensure solution is robust and scalable.
Key Skills
Knowledge of the following is a MUST
* Experience with managing development of enterprise level end to end software applications (UI, Middle Tier, Backend Integration) is required.
* Experience with developing Frameworks.
* Experienced in development using Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0, ASP.NET MVC 3.0, JQuery, AJAX, Javascript, HTML, CSS, XML/XSD and SQL.
* Knowledge of Web Services, Security, SOA, Design Patterns.
