Technical Infrastructure Specialist - the Hague, the Netherlands

FOR ONE OF OUR CLIENTS WE ARE LOOKING FOR A TECHNICAL SPECIALIST FOR A PROJECT IN THE HAGUE.

End Date: 31-12-2015

Location: The Hague, The Netherlands

PROJECT OR ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION
The Service development team is building a new infrastructure and supporting services to support the client.

TECHNICAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
MANDATORY

- Strong technical IT infrastructure skills,
- Build & configure Windows Servers/services ESXi/VMWare, WinOS, AD, SQL
- Good networking background
- Script development experience (PowerShell)
- Hands on approach to technical and supporting administrative tasks,
- Awareness of standard IT service management processes

DESIRED

- Experience in technical co-ordination/planning in a project environment
- Experience with working in an international team
- Experience with formal transition from project development into operational services

OPTIONAL EXPERIENCE THAT WOULD BE USEFUL

- Oil and Gas business domain knowledge - specifically Drilling/Wells/Upstream
- RealTime data systems (eg PI)
- Network security controls in a Process Control &/SCADA environment
- Additionally any experience in Fortinet Firewalls, OPC, WITS, WITMSL would be useful
