Our client is urgently searching for a strong Technical Infrastructure Project Manager with French or Dutch language and ICT architecture, implementation, change management, Linux, Microsoft and network environments to work on a critical project in Belgium.
A successful candidate will have strong skills in:
Project management,
Speak French or Dutch
Thorough knowledge of the main elements of the ICT architecture, specified in the specific profile of demand relative to the project objective (eg: Mainframe, Linux, LDAP, TCP/IP Networks, VoIP, security systems and data, monitoring, web infrastructure, web services, DBMS).
Experience of at least five years in the implementation and change management of heterogeneous production platforms Linux/Microsoft and network environments
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
Job Description
* Technical project management IT, mainly for infrastructure projects.
* Managing a multidisciplinary team.
* Project Monitoring Report Writing to the project team, to the steering committee of the project and to management.
* You will be responsible for the timing and results of IT technical projects.
Background
* graduated in computer science.
* Extensive experience of minimum 5 years in managing large scale IT projects.
* Knowledge and experience in information management strategies and in particular with regard the following aspects: IT strategic plan, IT architecture, project management and IT analysis.
* Knowledge of at least one project management methodology for conceptualizing and technical analysis of IT projects.
* Having successfully completed several technical IT projects in the public sector.
Languages
* Being preferably bilingual (French and Dutch) or, failing that, have sufficient basic knowledge of a second national language to participate without problems in meetings with other specialists and representatives of users.
* Knowledge of technical English is essential.
General knowledge and skills
* Good communication (written and verbal).
* Able to lead a multidisciplinary team composed of IT engineers and system administrators.
* Ability to write project monitoring reports.
* Sense of responsibility.
* Stress resistance.
* Demonstrate autonomy, initiative and flexibility.
* Use discretion.
* Demonstrate a high availability.
* Know how to adapt quickly to changes in circumstances.
* Be methodical and precise in his/her work.
* Creative, constructive and solution-oriented.
