A rapidly growing global investment bank with its major functions centralised in theUKis looking to hire a Technical Information Security Officer to help drive security awareness and regulation, to manage risk assessment projects and to identify opportunities to further develop and improve security frameworks, standards and operations globally.

The TISO will be an interface between security the business and technology, so this role will require the security officer to be highly autonomous and flexible with the ability to communicate across multiple business and technology platforms to help drive security initiatives.

Therefore, while strong Information and IT Security skills are important - equally as important are communication, analysis skills and the ability to articulate and appreciate the subtle balance between technology, security and business needs and requirements.

Desirable Security Skills/Knowledge Include: ISO 27001, SoGP, Risk Assessments, Information Security and Data Protection, Change management, Tech-Business-Security Balance, Security Projects and Audits.

The TISO role is highly multi dimensional and challenging, and the security officer will have the opportunity to travel globally, with a particular focus onEuropeto meet with business and technology teams, complete risk assessments, collect and analysis data and use all this information to help improve security architecture, frameworks and standards for the bank globally
