MAJOR JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work directly with IT Department Resource Commitment Managers in processing project related requests by following procedural documentation. Actively participate on process improvement teams by providing feedback and assist in implementing changes maintaining procedural documentation.
PROCESSES TO BE PERFORMED but are not limited to:
Performing project initiation process, Create projects from template, Configure project level data according to documentation, Enter all required project codes, Create activities for projects, Assignment of resources to activities, Entry of all required activity codes; Perform project maintenance, Addition of activities & coding as necessary, Addition of resource assignments as necessary, MonitorPerform project closeout; Provide Primavera Timesheet support for users; Primavera Project Management administration including: Maintenance of Primavera resources (addingCreation of ad hoc reporting as requested by supervisors & team leads
SKILLS:
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Computer-related four year College or University Degree or equivalent experience. Two to four years relevant experience using Primavera Project Portfolio Management tool required. Progressively responsible Project Management job-related experiences.
SKILLS:
Knowledge and experience using the latest Primavera Project Portfolio Management technology, project management methodology and Microsoft EXCEL pivot tables. Ability to work both independently and with a cooperative team on complex projects that may span multiple infrastructure teams.
