Technical/Functional Support Analyst

Our client is faced with new global regulatory standards on bank capital adequacy and liquidity (eg Basel III). In order to comply with these new standards Market Risk Management, Finance, Bank Treasury, together with individual business lines, have launched an initiative to enhance their Asset & Liability Management (ALM) capabilities through a group wide implementation of a new ALM tool. As part of this roll-out a new Business Application Support (BAS) team has been set up to provide high standard functional support for all users group wide.

The role of the BAS team is to:
*Be a Single Point of Contact for users for all questions (technical and functional)
*Design and implementation of the operating model, eg working procedures, performance optimisation, usage of various production databases and its interactions.
*Functional application management f(behavioral modelling, (stress) scenarios)
*Manage the relation with vendor: new releases, coordinate trainings
*Be the Centre of Excellence for users: exploring best practices, sharing knowledge
*In collaboration with IT - setup & manage ITIL processes, eg incident, change management, configuration management.
*In collaboration with Operational Risk and IT - setup & manage operational risk processes, eg security monitoring, user access.

We are looking for a proven Technical/Functional Support Analyst with hands on mentality to. We are looking for somebody with strong communicative skills and who is capable of being a sparring partner for the business as well as for IT. Candidate must be highly analytical with demonstrated experience in critical thinking and problem solving. The ideal candidate has an analytical background and has experience in a technical/functional support role. The role consists of: following up on incidents act as a liaison between business and technical staff.
