Technical Engineering/Quality Development

*Audit and supplier development
*Evaluation and validation of potential new suppliers according to the Commodity strategies and Group procedures
*Support the plants and plant SQ Engineers in level 2 escalation cases if requested and to take lead for approved level 3 escalation cases
*Carry out system and/or process audits at the suppliers with reference to VDA 6.3 and additional requirements specific to the customer and the company and also with reference to latest version of ISO 9001, IATF 16949 and ISO 14001.
*Continual working to improve the Global Vendor Portal (Approved, On-Hold, To be Resourced) including all related Quality information (certifications, audit results)
*report immediately to the direct and functional manager when major issues occur
*develop and utilize effective measures to ensure continuous improvements

VORAUSSETZUNGEN:

*Experience Technical engineering
*Training in quality assurance, further training in measuring engineering, print interpretation, tolerances of form and position, GD&T
*VDA 6.3 Certified Auditor
*Auditor (certified auditor) for IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001
*experience in manufacturing industry, preferably in production engineering or quality engineering.
*Fluent in English
*Relevant quality tool and techniques (APQP, PPAP, Root Cause Analysis, 8D, PDCA-FTA, MSA, SPC, FMEA, PCZ)
*Good Excel skills (VBA, pivot tables, supplier scoreboard, KPI reporting, Vendor Portal reports)
*Good SAP knowledge (QM11 module, vendor claim management, cost tracking per claim)
*Frequent travel as required
