Within the Supply Chain Group, the I/T Manufacturing and Technical Operations Organization our client is currently looking for a Technical engineer for automated warehouse systems, supporting both the production warehouse and the distribution warehouse.
The Technical engineer will be part of the local Business Unit IT support team, supporting the Manufacturing site.
Job Description/Project Background
* Play a key role in warehouse projects:
* Requirements gathering and functional analysis of new requests
* Validation of software updates delivered by the supplier
* Development and execution of system acceptance tests
* Provide support for the automated warehouse systems (Level 1 and Level 2 support)
Education
Master and/or Bachelor Degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, OR equivalent through experience. Advanced course work in technical systems plus continued education in technical disciplines is preferred
Experience/Required skills
* Strong Technical knowledge of Oracle database
* Strong knowledge of logistic business processes
* knowledge of E'wms (Egemin Warehouse Management System)
* knowledge of E'wcs (Egemin Warehouse Control System)
* Knowledge of E'tricc (Egemin Traffic Control System) is an advantage
* Basic knowledge of communication with PLC (programmable logic control)
* Basic knowledge of SAP Warehouse management is an advantage
* Technical writing skills to write the proper documentation according to internal regulations (FDA part 11, GxP, )
* Experience in all aspects of the SDLC of IT systems. This includes requirement and specification analysis, testing, implementation and change management
Environment Development Tool(s) and Platform(s)
* Oracle 10.x and SQL
* Microsoft Windows Server 2003 and 2008
Personal skills
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Must be able to work on multiple simultaneous tasks with limited supervision
* Able to follow change management procedures and internal guidelines
