TECHNICAL EDITOR WRITER needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in South San Francisco, CA.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Reporting to the Pharma Technical Regulatory (PTR) Business Process Analyst, the position of Technical Writer will be part of the Operations Business Excellence (OBE) department.
- She/He will work closely with the PTR functions to ensure alignment and accurate reflection of various processes in internal documentation in accordance with corporate standards and corporate guidelines.
- This position requires tactical thinking, collaboration, organization and excellent written and visual communication skills.
- Plan, author and/or revise internal documents in accordance with corporate standards and guidelines
- Facilitate workshops and conduct personnel interviews to ensure and maintain accurate and comprehensive understanding of current processes
- Proofread and edit internal documents for consistency, effectiveness, and overall quality
- Participate and provide support for continuous process improvement efforts.
- Update internal documentation accordingly.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Ability to work independently as well as within a team structure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to work in a team setting with team members face-to-face as well as in remote locations over multiple time zones.
- Three (3+) years of experience in technical writing
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Proficient with the use of MS Excel, Word, Powerpoint, and Visio
- Proven ability to create strong working relationships with respect to cultural diversity and working styles
- Demonstrated ability to organize, and execute on a variety of assignments and action plans
- Ability to translate complex concepts into written and visual documentation
- TRAVEL: Flexible and ability to travel internationally, as required (~5%).

- Minimum requirement is a Bachelors degree or equivalent in English, Sciences, Information Design, or a related discipline
