TECHNICAL EDITOR WRITER needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in South San Francisco, CA.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Reporting to the Pharma Techinical Regulatory (PTR) Business Process Analyst, the position of Technical Writer will be part of the Operations Business Excellence (OBE) department.
- She/He will work closely with PTR functions to ensure internal documentation aligns and accurately reflects business processes.
- To ensure accurate and effective documentation of current processes.
- Work with colleagues in Europe to plan, author and/or revise internal documents in accordance with corporate standards and guidelines.
- This position will require many early morning phone calls with Europe to facilitate the authoring process and may require travel to Europe to complete projects.
- Facilitate workshops and conduct personnel interviews to ensure and maintain accurate and comprehensive understanding of current processes.
- Proofread and edit internal documents for consistency, effectiveness, and overall quality.
- Provide support for continuous process improvement efforts. Update internal documentation accordingly.
- The position requires tactical thinking, collaboration, and organization skills.

What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- Minimum requirement is a Bachelors degree or equivalent in English or Physical Science (Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, etc.)
- 3+ years of experience in technical writing
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- High proficiency with the use of MS Excel, Word, Powerpoint, and Visio
- Proven ability to create strong working relationships with respect to cultural diversity and working styles
- Demonstrated ability to organize and execute on a variety of assignments and action plans
- Ability to translate complex concepts into written and visual documentation
