Technical Documentation Specialist Job

TECHNICAL DOCUMENTATION SPECIALIST needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in BERKELEY, CA

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- There is no data input involved in the position.
- Performs initial level of assessment of changes associated with externally or internally generated changes in raw materials used in a licensed biopharmaceutical operation.
- Works with senior members of the department to assist with document creation and maintain document updates.
- Enters change project data into cGMP systems associated with externally or internally generated changes in material used in a licensed biopharmaceutical operation.
- Utilizes cGMP governed processes to assess impact of material changes and drive through implementation the necessary changes, via partnership with line management organizations.
- Follows up with support and line organizations with subtasks.
- Works with senior members of the department to assist with project timelines and escalates as necessary when timelines are at risk.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Some knowledge of raw material conversion to a product or knowledge of the importance of raw materials to a process
- Experience with change control and associated document is an asset
- Strong writing skills are an absolute must - including grammar, punctuation, and messaging.

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Science-based degree: preferably Chem, biochem or chem engineering.
- Some industry experience, preferably within manufacturing
