Technical Director

We are currently recruiting for our client, a prestigious telecommunications company for a Technical director to join their project in Spain.

Position Title: Technical Director

Position Type: Contract

Start Date: January 2015

Duration: 3 months rolling

Location: Spain, Madrid

Responsibilities:

- Delegating the TE&TL workload and leading the entire technical team.
- Evaluation of the entire data center consolidation project.
- Responsible for designing the overall plan.
- In charge of the project technical plan, design and implementation.
- Anticipate and avoiding possible technical risks in the project.

Qualifications/Skills Required:

- 10+ years of similar working experience.
- Must have knowledge on the current mainstream data center Servers, storage products and virtualization platforms.
- Knowledge of OS system and related P2P/P2V migration tools.
- Familiar with database recovery.
- Familiar with the data center consolidation process and methodology.
- Strong knowledge on application discovery, analysis and performance management tools.
- Experience on large enterprise data center consolidation project.
- Fluent English and Spanish language.
