Technical Design Analyst (OO-Java-C#-C++) Capital Markets - Sydney

My client is well known in the banking circles, for the excellence of their product offerings, and with that success story, they are always looking to add people to their resource base.

They are now very urgently looking for an OO Specialist, in either Java, C++, or C#, who will take on a TECHNICAL ANALYST role for a period of 7-8 months, based in Sydney

THEY NEED SOMEONE WITH:

* Strong capital markets domain experience 8+ years. Solid understanding of asset classes (equity & Fixed Income)
* Extensive experience (10+ years) in solution architecture in a capital markets environment, designing application frameworks, applications, Service Oriented architectures, web services etc
* Expert in Object Oriented Analysis and design with masterful expertise in Java or C++ or C#"NICE TO HAVE:

* Experience in performing Application Portfolio Analysis
* Perform Application Portfolio Analysis and provide domain/technical expertise
* "Assess the current applications stack. Document the application frameworks, interfaces, data flows.
* Perform requirements analysis to develop standards and processes for technical analysis & design, documentation and related toolsets"
* Lead the technical documentation efforts to bring the existing documentation in line with new standards and processes
* Train onshore and offshore staff on the new standards and processes
