* Routing Protocols: RIP , RIP2 , OSPF and BGPv4 , PPP; * Application Protocol: SNMP, FTP, SFTP , XML , HTTP(S) * Banking protocol: APACS (40/50/70); * Operating Systems: UNIX - Solaris 8, UNIX - OS: HP-UX, * Proven ability to managed complex distributed network using a significant range of LAN/WAN/3G technologies. * Proven ability to manage a large portfolio of multi- applications contactless devices and cards supporting following technologies or standards: ISO14442, ISO7816, NFC. * Ability to anticipate problems and adopt a proactive and can do attitude to resolve them; * Ability to manage customer expectations and deliver service to meet these expectations * Broad experience of translating non-technical user requirements into a technical solutions * Proven ability to build effective working relations (partnering) with people at all levels across the organisation and outside. * Strong verbal communication skills including ability to talk through complex information with senior management and Directors. * Strong written communication skills including ability to produce summary and feasibility reports on complex technical and business issues. * Proven ability to analyse complex systems, spot trends, draw conclusions, and produce solutions and decisions * Experience of providing innovative technology solutions e.g.Mobilephones, Credit/Debit cards, Smartcards. * Experience of carrying out assurance or acceptance activities in a contractual environment; * Detailed experience of working in a ticketing services or card processing environment is desirable; * Proven track record for delivering large, complex initiatives on time and within budget. * Broad experience of documentation techniques for creating functional and non-functional requirements specifications * Broad experience of assessing and managing system risks with an associated mitigation plan For more information please contact James Spear at Computer Futures
