Technical/Customer Support Specialist (Junior/Mid Level)

Yoh has a (12) month contract opportunity for a TECHNICAL/CUSTOMER SUPPORT SPECIALIST with our client in Carlsbad, CA.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Provide strong technical support of company's products to customers in a professional and friendly manner via telephone and electronic help desk.
- TROUBLESHOOT AND SOLVE A WIDE RANGE OF CUSTOMER SUPPORT ISSUES.
- System monitoring via remote log in.
- OPERATING SYSTEM AND APPLICATION INSTALLATION/CONFIGURATION.
- Perform and facilitate the return of items under warranty with third party vendors, coordinate maintenance repairs, and loaner service orders.
- Complete call logs and reports.
- Provide customers with product and service information.
- Daily data entry into Customer Relations Management system.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- STRONG PC SKILLS and knowledge of MS Applications.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows 2000, XP Professional, and Windows 2003 Server is required.
- General or working knowledge in three or more of the following areas is strongly preferred: MS SQL Server, Remote Desktop, PACS, TCP/IP, DICOM, and CRM systems.
- PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN MEDICAL IMAGING (ULTRASOUND, CT, AND RADIOLOGY) IS A PLUS.
- Must be extremely detail oriented, organized, and professional.
- Additional work experience and/or technical certifications such as MCSE, MCP, or A+ may be substituted in lieu of degree.
- Can communicate clearly, both written and in speech.
- Able to use automated information systems to analyze the customer's situation.
