Technical Coordinator/Project Manager, Web/Middleware IT Security, Ban

BACKGROUND: International bank with a massive programme of projects is looking for a Technical Coordinator/Project Manager, for their Web/Middleware IT Security needs.
The Middleware Security team is part of the IT Security skill centre, which designs, delivers, and supports the integration layer between operating systems and business applications within distributed environments. In particular, this team is currently playing a key role in designing, delivering, and integrating the technical components supporting B2B, B2C, and Web information exchange solutions. Within this context, the Web Security team focuses on the security components such as PKI, Authentication, reverse proxies, application Firewalls, and more generally DMZ components.
The Web Security team drives product analyses and selections within the guidelines and requirements of the IT Security Architecture team and in collaboration with that team, and ensures that the availability, operability, recoverability, and scalability requirements are taken into account. The Web Security team then leads security product implementations and their integration within end-to-end solutions. The team also delivers and supports the security products in live production environments.
TASKS:
- manage daily operations of the team (on call planning, team plan, white board and task follow up);
- act as Technical Coordinator and Project Manager: you focus to give technical guidance to the professionals and experts in the team with the help and approval of the Technical Domain Owner and Team Leader.
- foster good collaboration with Operational and Infrastructure teams.
- follow up various projects the team is involved in.
SKILLS:
- Experience with team management and relationship with experts who work independently, ie PROJECT MANAGEMENT/TECHNICAL COORDINATION ideally in an IT Security environment
- Experience with Continuous Improvement (LEAN methodology), influence the adoption of the LEAN' principles within the team if possible.
- Practical experience in project leading, as well a good overall technical expertise in a complex environment. Experience in planning, controlling and monitoring projects and execution will be a plus.
- Experience in web security technologies is a plus, quickly understand the production processes of the bank's Technical environment;
- Experience in technical coordination, negotiation and decision making attitude working together with different stakeholders (team leaders and technical domain owners), ability to see the big picture;
