Technical Consultant - SOC Services

Proteus Europe is searching for a Security Operation Centre Architect to work for a short term contract in Netherlands

Your New role:-

o Define the solution architecture for the security systems to be implemented within SOC;
o Assess the IT Landscape and identify the relevant and cost effective integration points with the SOC services and technology platforms. eg log sources to be connected to the SIEM log collectors;
o Work in an outsourced IT environment with multiple IT Service Providers and with the SOC services providers to identify the best solutions for deployment and integration of these services. eg log collection and SIEM implementation;
o Define and implement together with the SOC Services Providers the security event monitoring use cases;
o Monitor and follow up on the SOC Services implementation in order to identify and report on any potential deviations from the requirements.

Qualifications
o Experience implementing security solutions - at least 5 years with at least 2 Security; Experience implementing Logrhythm SIEM is a must.
o Monitoring and Response solutions being designed and implemented;
o Operational experience working with SIEM or comparable solutions on daily basis - at least 2 years.
o Experience working in a multinational/corporate environment
o Strong technical background in IT Security area, Networking, Data Centers, Servers
