TECHNICAL CONSULTANT RISK/ALM - AMSTERDAM - ASAP - 31.12.2017

ROLE: Functional Consultant Risk/Asset Liability Management

LOCATION: Amsterdam, Netherlands

DURATION: ASAP - 31.12.2017

For a bank in Amsterdam we are urgently seeking a TECHNICAL CONSULTANT to start ASAP until at least the end of the year. You will join a leading consultancy which runs a project within ASSET LIABILITY MANAGEMENT (ALM)/RISK MANAGEMENT within a leading bank in Amsterdam. Practical experience with financial software implementation in BANKS OR FINANCIAL COMPANIES is therefore also a must. You are fluent in ENGLISH, are client-focused, have knowledge of SGL and can write algorithms in scripts on a language similar to Microsoft VBA. You are well spoken, have good documentation skills, are detail oriented and are good in multi-tasking. Unix knowledge is considered a plus but not a must.

You will be responsible for the IMPLEMENTATION OF THE RISK MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE SOLUTIONS and:

- Liaise with customer to analyse, determine and document the customer's business requirements; provide advicework with Misys teams on the solution design and related documents
- Parameterise and configure the software to deliver the agreed functionality as well as assist in the analysis, resolve/escalate issues encountered by the team during the implementation of the solutions and when interfacing to third party systems
- Work with customer during the implementation, assist customers with test activities, deliver training courses to the customer.
- Provide reports and updates throughout the project life cycle to a project manager.
