IHRE AUFGABEN:

-Support with porting user applications to the new infrastructure
-Help users to analyze and optimize their codes for optimal performance
-Assist users in solving problems in their applications
-Share best practices among users to optimize the utilization of systems
-Focal point for customer application issues and their escalation
-Documentation of changes and optimizations applied to the program

IHRE QUALIFIKATIONEN:

-Knowledge in one or more of the following areas: processor architecture, interconnect topology, GPU
-Excellent knowledge in CUDA and/or Python programming
-Experience in basic scripting in bash/csh and knowledge of parallel file systems (Lustre/GPFS)
-Specialist skills in HPC, Programming, C/C++, Linux
-M.Sc or Ph.D in Applied Mathematics, Numerical Analysis, Scientific Computing or related experience in research environment
-Solid experience in working with high performance systems in sciences and demonstrated experience with parallel programming and application analysis
-Good working knowledge of MPI, OpenMP and working experience with a Distributed Resource Manager (PBS/SLURM/Torque) as a user
-Experience with Linux OS and in a customer facing role/consulting role
-Excellent interpersonal skills, customer oriented attitude and presentation and communication skills
