Technical Consultant - London- £80-90k + Bonus

Technical Consultant -London- £80-90k + bonus I am currently searching for a technical consultant. This new role will be sitting in the client services team for a very successful financial software provider. You main duties will be to work on the post trade processing software arm of the business focusing on the asset management industry. For this role you will need to have experience of implementing post trade post trade services and processes as the team is currently very strong and are looking for somone who can add value from day one. You will need to have deep knowledge with at least one of the following: trade matching, corporate actions, settlements, clearing, reconciliation, messaging and analytics. You will need to have strong experience of gathering requirement from customers from a technical and functional perspective and translate these into technical specs and provide guidance on project plans with the development and testing teams. You will be expected to take a very hands on approach through out the process from design right through to implementation and keep the client and other members of the business updated with progress and performance updates. Skills needed - Strong pre-sales skills including presentation and communication skills - Strong requirements gathering experience - Strong technical skills with databases, coding and cross platform systems - Strong skills with messaging and middleware (SWIFT, EMX or FIX) - Extensive exposure to asset management If this sounds like the type of role you could do and you are looking for a new challenge then I look forward to hearing from you!!
