Technical Consultant - Housing Scheme

We require a Technical Consultant - Housing Scheme to start for a interim assignment, until approximately end of March (however there is a likelihood of it being extended but we cannot grantee) Rate £250 - £300 possibility of flexibility for the right person. We intend to develop at least 400 units of older peoples accommodation in the next seven years.

The purpose of this role is to assist in the process in three ways.
1) To progress development of a credible bid to the HCA for the proposed Extra Care Housing scheme in Dunstable.
2) To assist preparation for the second phase during which the technical expertise will be secured for the construction stage and the immediate pre and post construction stages.
3) To progress proposals and initial feasibility for the development of extra care housing schemes, which are likely to be mixed tenure and delivered in partnership with providers selected through competitive procurement. Essential Needs to have come from a construction background within a housing association development or LG authority Building Qual's.
