Technical Consultant (Clicksoftware/SAP WSO)

Our client seeks a Technical Consultant with experience of ClickSoftware/SAP WSO to work as part of a project team in providing high-quality technology consulting services to clients, usually centred around the implementation of a solution or product, according to the client's needs.

The Technical Consultant must have a solid background in software configuration and development, together with the professional, confident approach required for client-facing work.

You will understand client requirements and provide advice on technical solutions and issues, assist the client in developing and designing a workable and appropriate solution for the business, provide technical support to the client during the implementation, assist with the installation and configuration of products and solutions and fine-tune the application functionality to meet business objectives.

You will also assist the client or third party integrator to develop interfaces to solution, provide on-site support to the client during the testing and go-live phases to ensure a successful deployment and liaise with third-party vendors and technical colleagues to meet client objectives.

Educated to degree/HND level, or equivalent, preferably in an IT-related subject, you will have experience of working directly with clients (internal or external) to configure, implement and support enterprise-level business applications. Experience of programming and developing web applications (eg VB.NET, ASP.NET, C#, Silverlight, XML), experience of Oracle and/or MS SQL Server databases, excellent written and verbal communication skills, experience of products and solutions used to manage a service management organisation, eg workforce management, shift planning/rostering (ClickSoftware/SAP WSO), enterprise mobility solutions, experience of SAP and an understanding of the business issues involved in system implementation/integration.
