My client is based in Paris and actually looking for a Technical consultant for a one year contract.

TITLE: Technical consultant

MAIN PURPOSE:

The technical consultant provides knowledge to an implementation by understanding the technical requirements and tools necessary to implement, upgrade, administer, support and extend applications.

AS A TECHNICAL CONSULTANT YOU WILL HAVE TO:

- Participate in technical workshops during the initiation and definition stages of project
- Take responsibility for the source control process on projects
- Be responsible for the management of source control on the project - Ensure team follows best practice for development including planning quality processes into the build and leveraging programming tools, frameworks and environments/

SKILLS REQUIRED:

- Graduated in IT/Engineering discipline
- Minimum 4/5 years of experience in a technical role
- Fluent in French and English
- Excellent knowledge of JAVA and J2EE architecture
- Excellent knowledge of SQL, Oracle, DB2
- Excellent knowledge of application Servers such as WebSphere, Apache Tomcat, JBoss, Weblogic
- Experience with data integration, data warehousing or data analytics is an asset
