CHANGE MANAGER/ITIL/TELECOMMUNICATIONS/TCP/IP/INCIDENT MANAGEMENT/NATO/SC CLEARED
RATE: €45 - 50 P/H
LOCATION: MONS (BELGIUM)
CLEARANCE: SC/NATO SECRET
Skills:
A Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree at a nationally Recognised/certified University in a technical subject with substantial Information Technology (IT) content and 2 years post related Experience.
The lack of a university/college degree may be compensated by the demonstration of a candidate's particular abilities or experience that is/are of interest to NCI Agency; that is, at least 2 years extensive and progressive expertise in the duties related to the function of the post
It is essential that the incumbent has the following experience/education:
At least two years of experience in Relational Data Base Management System as designer and developer
A minimum of two years' experience with the configuration and operation of Network Monitoring and Event Management systems;
Minimum qualification of ITIL Foundation;
Very good knowledge of Transmission and Telecommunication Systems Engineering and the associated aspects;
A high level of knowledge of network, system and application level troubleshooting techniques;
Sound knowledge of communications protocols and practical experience of using diagnostic test equipment;
Working knowledge of TCP/IP protocols;
Experience in Service Management processes for Incident Management Change Management and Service Fulfilment;
Experience in customer support, user incident handling;
Experience of preparing technical documentation and Standard Operating Procedures.
It is desirable that the incumbent has the following experience/education:
Sound knowledge of communications protocols and practical experience of using diagnostic test equipment;
Familiarity with military Networks and data systems;
Experience with integrating communications systems with Active Directory and PKI technologies;
Demonstrable evidence in maintaining knowledge of advances in Information Technology;
Prior experience of working in an international environment comprising both military and civilian elements;
Knowledge of NATO responsibilities and organization, including Allied Command Operations and Allied Command Transformation.
