Technical Business Analyst Senior

Technical Business Analyst - Senior wanted for our Zurich based client in the insurance sector.

YOUR EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

- Bachelor degree or equivalent experience within a technical IT environment
- 5+ years of experience as IT SME, Software Engineer or Developer
- Confidence in Windows system environments, database systems, data modelling, SQL, Java and ASP.NET
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications as well as profound knowledge of Windows as an operating System
- Familiarity with relational databases and data structures
- Previous working experience in an agile development environment and additional skills of Unix systems (AIX) are beneficial
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken, German would be an asset

YOUR TASKS:

- Ensuring alignment with business requirements by reviewing and validating the detailed technical design for business applications provided by the supplier
- Writing change requests and specifications for technical changes and conduct code review
- Developing small tools and databases supporting testing or data conversions
- Mediating between Business and IT as well as supporting the Project Manager in building business case, risk assessment and project scope
- Consulting and supporting local IT representatives regarding data exchange with central systems
