Technical Business Analyst - Investment Banking - NEW YORK, NY

Hatstand is currently looking for a Technical Business Analyst with a solid background in the trading systems and market data environment. The role will involve analysing efficiencies in architecture, functionality, and integration points with existing and planned applications
Through interaction with a range of business functions, you will ensure that business, application support, and technical requirements are identified and developed with other teams over the project life cycle. This will enable you to develop a clear strategic direction to help define high-level technology requirements. The position will suit someone with demonstrable experience of managing business expectations and ensuring solutions have a good fit in terms of minimizing risk, cost and time to market.

Requirements
*Proven experience in technical business analysis/project management to help translate strategic vision into infrastructure functionality.
*Background in trading systems and application architecture (any HFT experience is a plus).
*Solaris, Linux, and Windows Operating Systems
*Perl and UNIX Shell Scripting
*Excellent communication skills
*Databases - Oracle, Sybase, Microsoft SQL Server
*Tibco EMS, RV Middleware
*ITRS Genoes
*Market Data experience would be preferable
