Technical Business Analyst- Investment Banking

A Business Analyst is required by an Investment Bank to contribute to a growing global programme.

The successful candidate will have an excellent background in working with developers and architects to produce functional specifications and design solutions within Investment Banking. Candidates will also be required to have knowledge of data, data quality, data analysis and entity modeling. In addition, it will be necessary to have had experience of logical data models and be able to use SQL to extract large amounts of data. Furthermore, the role will require the candidate to have extensive experience in writing functional requirements and extensive Use Case Modelling. Furthermore, it will be necessary to have a strong background in operations, UML techniques and an understanding of Agile.

Essential Requirements

- Extensive Business Analysis experience from an Investment Bank, producing functional specifications and designing solutions
- Proven track record in data quality assessment, data analysis, and entity modelling
- Excellent knowledge of Use Case Modelling, UML and Agile
- Expert in gathering requirements and working with user experience
- Excellent knowledge of SQL
- Knowledge of Client Reference Data experience e.g. KYC/AML/MIFID etc would be an advantage
- Confident in managing senior stakeholders and able to deliver under pressure
