Working in a hybrid Technical Architect, Technical Business Analyst, Technical Analyst capacity you will be responsible for documenting high level conceptual designs relating to finance and merchandising applications hosted in an IBM iSeries technical environment on behalf of a major retail organisation. You will need to understand the business requirements of both finance and merchandising software and translate these requirements into detailed technical specs for use by the RPG development teams. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of the iSeries platform and RPG development environment and will have an appreciation of merchandising and finance applications used within the retail industry. You will also have first class analytical and customer engagement skills and will have previous experience of managing third parties and offshore resources.
