A manager at a top investment bank in New York City is looking for a cash/collateral Business Analyst. There will be a focus on latitude program analysis, gap analysis, The more experience with SQL the better. Working with global payment and funding systems, business process re-engineering projects, is a big plus, as well experience in writing user stories and detailed acceptance criteria. Exposure to Investment banking is crucial. This will be a 6+ month contract that has the opportunity to be constantly extended or turn full time - please do not apply unless you are interested in something long term. Main Duties: * Define and complete Latitude program analysis deliverables by understanding and analyzing business requirements to determine data and functional needs * Complete analysis artifacts to Barclays and internal team standards as well as contributing to their continual development and improvement * Establish strong working relationships with globally located Operations Change and Operations users to ensure efficient requirement capture and verification * Create data requirement specifications and perform gap analysis of data required versus data availability to determine most appropriate solution * Contribute to final solution design by representing data, functional and non-functional needs * Work with the development team & technical architects to fully identify all aspects of the data and functional requirements * Work with Team Lead to maintain progress visibility and timely escalate any issues * Liaise with testing team for system test definition and execution * Liaise with User groups and support teams for execution of User Acceptance Testing Basic Qualifications: * 5+ years experience in cash management or liquidity management processes and implementations * 5+ years experience in investment Banking experience in either the middle or back office * 2+ years experience working in large data acquisition projects * 2+ years experience working in an agile environment * 2+ years experience working on Global projects and applications supporting global user groups Preferred Qualifications: * Experience of working with global payment and funding systems. * Experience of working on business process re-engineering projects * Experience of writing user stories and detailed acceptance criteria
