Technical Business Analyst/Data Analyst

- 6 month contract with extensions
- ETL SSIS/SSRS

Leading CBD based organisation is seeking a top notch Technical Business Analyst/Data Analyst for a 6month contract.

You must have the following experience:

- Ability to understand data models and translate business requirements and concepts to the underlying data model
- Ability to reverse engineer and trace reporting solutions back through to source data
- Strong understanding of data traceability, data lineage and metadata concepts
- Strong data analysis skills using intermediate to advanced SQL
- Ability to understand complex SQL procedures
- Ability to manage urgent business requests on an ad hoc basis from multiple stakeholders
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication skills

Other Requirements:

- SDLC understanding including tailoring
- Superior documentation, presentation and formatting skills
- Ability to influence stakeholders and peers in order to complete required tasks
- Ability to prioritise and meet aggressive deadlines
- Ability to clearly articulate and manage stakeholders' expectations
- Strong Customer focus
- Knowledge Management/Training experience

Technical Skills

- Intermediate to Advanced SQL
- Advanced EXCEL
- Understanding of ETL processes and familiarity with Microsoft SSIS/SSRS Analysis & Reporting solutions or similar
