Technical Business Analyst

Our client in the Philadelphia area is looking for a Technical Business Analyst to join their team. This is a 12+ month contract (with extensions likely) with one of the most well-known companies in the region and nation.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

- Interact with business clients to develop an understanding of the business from an IT perspective
- Work toward goal of being able to understand the business as well or better than the actual business personnel
- Meet with business clients and provide status across all activities - incidents, defects and small enhancements
- Execute/coordinate IT testing activities associated with IT support team
- Manage small enhancement efforts as a small portion of this role
- Function in an IT Operations/Support Role including incident management, problem management/defect resolution, rotational on-call support, end-to-end system root cause determination

REQUIRED SKILLS:

- Experience querying Databases a must - SQL Server
- Extensive experience in a client facing role including:
- articulate issues
- manage/resolve defects
- gather requirements
- understand end-to-end functionality
- Excellent communication skills
