TECHNOLOGY/BUSINESS ANALYST
We are currently hiring for a Technical/Business Analyst for our banking Client in Singapore for 6 months contract. This role is for a position within Fixed Income technology. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality software on timescales in an intellectually challenging environment. The successful candidate will be required to become proficient in the tools and methods of the team in a short space of time and will be expected to make an ongoing contribution to improving the design, performance and auditable quality of the overall solution. In addition, the successful candidate will assist with the Business As Usual maintenance of the existing systems, in particular the bond trading platform Bloomberg TOMS.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The successful candidate for this role will be responsible for:
- Regulatory work around specific branch reporting and rollout of systems and supporting processes for initiatives in rates based system rollouts.
- Being the Asia Subject Matter Expert for Bloomberg TOMS
- Strategic development and migration related work, analytics risk/pv matching as well as tactical desk related development.
- Working as part of a global development team, to ensure that global tools and technologies are leveraged.
- Interfacing with the rest of the development team in Singapore to build a strong development community.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
MUST HAVE SKILLS:
- 4+ years' experience in a development role
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics (or similar)
- Excellent verbal/written communications skills
DESIRABLE SKILLS
- Extensive Python experience
- Quantitative Financial degree/certification
- Experience with Bloomberg TOMS
- 2+ years Front Office development experience on risk platforms
- Strong working understanding of Rates Products, particularly bonds
