Technical Business Analyst

Our client, a reputable organisation in Sydney's CBD is seeking an experienced TECHNICAL BUSINESS ANALYST to perform analysis of technical solutions and data and produce information for business stakeholders into presentations, reports and options papers.

Reporting to the Solutions Technical Project Manager you will be responsible for arranging, facilitating and participating in workshops with key internal and external technical and business stakeholders to gather and refine requirements or to review technical documentation. You will provide strategic decision-making and planning support to the Solution Design team through options analysis and assessments.

TO BE A SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE YOU WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

- Extensive experience working in a complex technical environment while working closely with business stakeholders
- Experience with options analysis - ROI, financial impact, customer service impact
- The ability to collect and analyse relevant data and information
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Exposure to large programs of work with complex architectures and integration
- Experience in requirements gathering and documentation
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assimilate information quickly, and present findings in a clear and distinct way
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills especially Visio, PowerPoint and Excel

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

- The ability to understand systems and solutions
- Previous experience working in structured environments. Telco and banking background will be highly regarded
