Technical BA/Risk Analyst - Credit Cards - SAS/SQL

TECHNICAL BA/RISK ANALYST - CREDIT CARDS - SAS/SQL - BANKING - LONDON - UP TO £450/DAY

A leading Retail Bank based in London is seeking a Technical BA/Risk Analyst to work on a Simplification programme which aims to make the Group leaner and more efficient. This includes everything from products to processes and systems to structure. The Credit Cards Simplification programme will complete the integration work for the Credit Cards Business, building on the foundation set by Integration Release C and delivering the Target Operating Model of a single set of systems and processes for the Cards business.

PURPOSE OF ROLE

As part of Credit Cards Back book migration we require dedicated experienced Business Analysts with both the experience of the CREDIT CARDS BUSINESS AND MIGRATIONS. The successful person will be responsible for working with the business through the analytical phases of the project to identify and describe the requirements for change.  They will evaluate the business impact of these changes and ensure that they are properly tested before implementation and validated afterwards.  

This specific role requires an analyst to work within the Risk Infrastructure team where they require a Technical BA/Risk Analyst.  This role will support the Capital modelling function, to ensure accurate, timely and compliant reporting of the Capital and Credit Risk information that forms part of the LBG statutory and regulatory disclosures

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

- Supporting the existing team with delivery of the Simplification Project - in particular related to capital models and operational scoring system
- Design, development and testing of analytical scripts, in particular SAS
- Manipulation of large, multi-dimensional data sets
- Strong BA experience and knowledge with a technical bias
- Production and delivery of Analysis, with submission into Senior management
- Resolution of technical queries and issues relating to data and/or process issues
- Involvement in business process re-design and production of process documentation, changes to existing reporting and build of new reporting
- Assisting in UAT where required

CORE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

- Extremely numerate - Educated to degree level in Maths/statistics
- Experienced and competent in the use of SAS/SQL software - including dealing with large datasets and model development environments
- All of the above accountabilities/deliverables are core to the role therefore the successful candidate must have demonstrated these skills in previous roles to be considered
