Technical Author/Writer - Energy - Contract

TECHNICAL AUTHOR/WRITER - ENERGY - CONTRACT - GLOUCESTERSHIRE

JOB PURPOSE

The overall purpose is to lead on the production of the Site Licence Application Overview and Forward Work Plan documents

Ensure that Application package documentation is consistent (eg use of language and style), in addition to being consistent with other Major Documents

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

- To lead on the production of a detailed Summary and Forward Work Plan document
- Ensure that Application package documentation is consistent (eg use of language and style
- Liaison with internal stakeholders, to ensure that the document accurately reflects the approach agreed
- Ensure that the Site Licence Application Package is developed to be consistent with the Site Licencing programme.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

- Experience in the Energy industry with demonstrable evidence of the authoring of strategic documentation
- Candidates must be able to demonstrate wider ie Bid Writing, Planning Consultations and Significant training programmes.
- Experience of understanding and delivering regulatory expectation
- Experience of co-ordinating the delivery of a multi-authored document
- Ability to deliver technical work both by personal implementation and through delivery teams
- Experience of producing high quality and succinct written work

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

- Flexibility and mobility to fulfil business travel requirements within the UK as required
- Expected to achieve Security Clearance

DESIRABLE

- Evidence of academic achievement. A relevant graduate degree
- Evidence of relevant continuous professional development (eg membership of a professional institution)
