Technical Author/Writer

Leading European Institution has tasked to identify a technical Author to join their team for an initial 12 month freelance contract based in Brussels. Day rate is flexible depending on experience.

FUNCTION

To produce technical documentation (mostly 'customer-facing', aimed at developers, implementers and integrators) in the areas of secure electronic identity assurance and Identity Access Management (IAM).

REQUIREMENTS

- Excellent English language;
- Excellent technical writing skills;
- Excellent editing skills with strong attention to detail;
- Ability to apply standards and to present a consistent tone of voice to content sourced from technical people in a multi-lingual environment;
- Ability to analyse and structure information;
- Flexibility;
- Familiar with working in a Java development environment;
- Good team player;
- Ability to prioritise work to meet deadlines;
- Ability to manage the review process;
- Strong Word skills (2016) including templates; and
- Experience of SharePoint.
