POSITION: TECHNICAL AUTHOR/TECHNICAL WRITER
LOCATION: PRAGUE, CZECH REPUBLIC
JOB TYPE: CONTRACT
THE JOB DESCRIPTION IS AS FOLLOWS:
- Provide technical writing and editing support. Write and edit various functional and technical documents, including user manuals, installation manuals, training manuals, customer service documentation, quick reference guides, etc.
- Deliver and maintain Hardware and Software product documentation.
- Improve the editorial and visual standards of the documents and recommends new designs, layouts and procedures as needed.
- Organize material and complete writing assignments according to the established standards.
- Create, write, and format documents with various Microsoft Outlook tools.
- Develop a deep knowledge of the products and write technical content to an appropriate level of detail.
- Collaborate effectively with globally-distributed product teams to gather information, to get the content review, etc.
- Delivery of quality documentation on time by following review and delivery processes and procedures.
