Technical Author/TA/Document Controller
Contract - Hertfordshire

My large client has an excellent opportunity for a candidate to join them in a Technical Author/Document Controller position. The position will suit a candidate with a science or engineering background, and you may be an established Technical Author or a recent graduate with excellent documentation/communication skills.

You will be working on a number of large capital projects and be required to liaise with a variety of internal departments, to produce and construct user requirements specifications (URS documents) that detail all of the requirements of the project.

Although my client would prefer a technical author with previous experience, they are also willing to take on a more junior candidate as long as you are able to communicate well and have strong technical report writing skills gained previously.

Key Requirements:
-Science or Engineering background - either as a technical author (ideal) or holding a science/engineering degree with strong technical report writing skills
-Excellent communication skills, able to take large amounts of information and convert into meaningful and clear documents
