Technical Author - Mobile Applications (Android, iOS)

Our blue chip client has a need for an experienced technical author to create technical user guides to support a range of mobile application projects. You will be documenting customisation options around mobile apps for various operating environments such as Android and iOS.

You will have:

- Good technical writing experience, including producing technical user guides.
- Android knowledge/background. iOS knowledge as well would be ideal.
- An understanding of the technical development and design aspects of mobile delivered apps.
- Ideally experience of documenting mobile applications for various operating environments eg Android, iOS etc.
- Experience of updating documentation to reflect changing release deliveries and app turnarounds.
- The ability to work with internal and third party developers, designers and marketing.
- The ability to track changes, ensuring version control of source material and end products.
- The ability to assimilate information about the organisation and its systems and services.
- Effective interpersonal and strong communication skills (both oral and written).
- Good planning and organisational skills.
