Our award-winning, high-technology client is looking for a detail-oriented technical author to write topic-based, technical content for their customers' designers, developers and engineers.
Skills and experience required:
- Technical writing experience in computing, software or electronics.
- Knowledge of at least one of the following: Embedded electronics; microprocessors and system-on-chip designs; Embedded memory systems.
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to converse with engineers, gather the relevant information and present it to the company style and guidelines.
- FrameMaker experience.
Any of the following are desirable:
DITA; XML; Visio; oXygen or similar; content management systems; an understanding of the interaction between software and hardware.
