Rate: £25p/h (Negotiable)

A leading multinational with a heavy R+D focus in the North East is looking to recruit an additional Technical Author for a 6 Month + contract role. This organisation is rapidly expanding and developing its product range and as a result has an increased need for a long term Technical Authoring resource.

Within this role you'll be producing technical documentation for bespoke subsea equipment that is used globally. You'll need to be able to take ownership of the work packages and work autonomously. Due to the nature of this work it is essential that you have some exposure to an engineering or scientific environment.

Ability to work autonomously

This is an immediate requirement that has significant long term potential. As well as working with Technical Documentation you will also have the opportunity to influence the content and structure of internal and external training manuals.
