Technical Assistance

The client is a renewable energy specialist who has a requirement for a Technical Assistant or Document Controller to join their team in Antwerp. This is a controller role it will involve Handling, Review and Storage of As Built Documentation of the Foundation Package. The on-boarding to get access to the document management system in Germany.

Responsibilities

- Handling of as built documentation for the WTG-foundation package in electronic and hard copy format
- Document incoming inspection according provided criteria
- Document status control in the electronic data management system.
- Storage and archiving of documentation in hard and soft copy in the project environment
- Support QC inspectors and SGS inspectors in their technical verification of as built documentation
- Advise QC inspectors regarding access to drawings, specification
- Support inspectors regarding documentation and reporting
- Report the status of as built documentation to package manager and project team
- Organisation of documentation reviews with project team and suppliers representative

Requirements

Knowledge of state of the art documentation management systems. Communication in a modern office environment
Quality Control skills for documentation. Document handling and archiving of contractual documents. Customer orientated service approach
Working with an electronic document management system. Self-motivating, target driven personality.

Experience

Working in a construction project
At least 5 year experience as technical documentation controller in project environment
