Technical Architect - Windows 10 Migration

WORKING AS A WINDOWS 10 ARCHITECT, YOU WILL;

- Own delivery responsibilities for client engagements, including but not limited to Windows 10 Migrations and transformations, application migration/modernization, security & identity assessments and networking assessments and design.
- Deliver technical leadership and architecture on our engagements, and provide feedback around the evolution of the solution
- Provide Microsoft focused sales support, including estimating, high-level solution development, cloud strategy, and workshop delivery.
- Shape end-to-end solutions and solution architectures for Workplace, including estimation, solution planning and collaborating with the internal and external teams to create the optimal client outcome.
- Partner with other solution architects and product management to define standardized solution and services baselines, application add-ons and industrialized delivery options

PROFESSIONAL & TECHNICAL SKILLS INCLUDES

- Thorough Windows 10 and some Microsoft 365 expertise across most features and services.
- Hard won experience of deploying Windows 10 and into large and mid-sized organizations, being able to identify pain points and lessons learned when designing solutions and providing guidance to others.
- Excellent customer facing skills, able to communicate at all levels of an organization, from C-Suite to the service desk.
- Understanding of Microsoft 365/Cloud architectures and strategy (public, private, and hybrid)
- Additional knowledge of Workplace Transformations, Azure Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), Virtualization: Hyper-V, VMWare, Virtual networking, Security and application architecture
- Technical lead for the delivery of large scale End User Compute Advisory and Delivery programs across the various EUC technologies such as Mobility, Office365, Skype for Business, Win 10, Workstation Imaging, Application packaging, and distribution, Workstation management, Identity and security.
- Demonstrates strong EUC Architectural knowledge. Trusted advisor to customers on EUC technologies, best practices and migration methodologies and techniques.
- Strong expertise in the Microsoft stack including Windows 7 and 10, EMS Suite, Azure, O365, E1, E3 and E5 licensing for Enterprise Agreements
- Technical knowledge of Virtual Desktop solutions (Citrix, App V) and Mobile Device Management (InTune, Mobile Iron, Airwatch).
- Strong technical knowledge of Directory Services (LDAP, Active Directory)
- Some knowledge of application architectures using non-Microsoft technologies such as Linux, and Open Source technologies such as OpenShift, Docker, Kubernetes and similar.
- You likely have a Bachelor's of Science or equivalent degree in computer science or related field, and/or equivalent professional experience, and enjoy working in a fast-paced and ever-dynamic environment
