Technical Architect - Splunk, Agile, Devops - Leeds, Yorkshire

Experienced TECHNICAL ARCHITECT required for Government organisation based in Leeds, Yorkshire.

CANDIDATES MUST DEMONSTRATE THE FOLLOWING:

EXPERIENCE OF PREPARING NEW SOLUTIONS WITH CRITICAL AVAILABILITY AND PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS INTO AN OPERATIONAL ENVIRONMENT

EXPERIENCE OF A SPLUNK-CENTRIC OPERATING ENVIRONMENT, AND HANDS-ON SKILLS IN SPLUNK APP DEVELOPMENT

EXPERIENCE OF AUTOMATED OPERATIONAL ENVIRONMENTS WORKING IN HARNESS WITH AGILE DEVELOPMENT ENVIRONMENT

Capable of producing clear and concise documentation

Experience of designing and implementing operational processes into a development organisation

Experience of configuration and management of Puppet-based deployment automation

PYTHON PROGRAMMING LANGUAGE EXPERIENCE

LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE FROM ENVIRONMENTS DEPLOYING CHOSEN PRODUCT SET, OR EQUIVALENTS: RIAK, REDIS, NGINX, RABBITMQ

THE TECHNICAL ARCHITECT IS REQUIRED TO:

Integrate the DevOps operational systems and processes with Service Management processes and systems

Review the design and architecture of the operational systems, highlight any gaps

Determine the operational reporting requirements, and implement the initial reports

Complete any outstanding work necessary for operational readiness, including hands-on configuration of systems where necessary

Oversee the integration of operational processes between teams, ensuring the maintenance of high-level goals (eg target of continuous delivery, DevOps culture)

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN A SIMILAR ROLE MUST BE EVIDENT ON CVS
