Technical Architect - Python/Docker/Linux/Jupyter

TECHNICAL ARCHITECT with profound knowledge in PYTHON, DOCKER, LINUX and/or JUPYTER wanted for our Zurich based client in the financial services sector. This is a long term project and requires a candidate with a strong technical background coupled with good coordination skills.

YOUR EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

- Expert knowledge in Python, Docker, Linux and Jupyter with the ability to evaluate pros and cons of each technology and their influence on the IT Operations
- Strong coordination/management skills to work with various teams including senior management
- Experience in working in an agile development team with profound knowledge DevOps methods
- Understanding of Monte Carlo simulations would be highly desirable
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken

YOUR TASKS:

- Ensuring data migration to Python
- Advising senior management on technical options and impact on IT operations
- Establishing and supporting a functional IT environment
- Coordination with technical teams
- Support in project planning
- Role is based in Zurich with some travel within Europe
