Technical Architect - Infrastructure

TECHNICAL ARCHITECT/INFRASTRUCTURE LEAD - 3/6 MONTH INITIAL CONTRACT
SKILLS REQUIRED:

- Strong technical expertise in Infrastructure and Data Centre design. Email system design.
- Citrix design. Active Directory Design. Network design. Strong interpersonal skills. Good Project Management skills.

EXPERIENCE:

- Min 5 years in infrastructure design role.

RESPONSIBILITY:

- Manage, support and coordinate the process of gathering, refining and agreeing the Non-functional requirements for the programme with inputs from client.
- Facilitate the Hosting vendor selection process

Provide Technical Architecture input to RFP and Vendor selection process for new hosting provider and new applications - Provide technical & Process SME in vendor evaluation
- Create Architecture Design for the programme
- Develop a Support Model
- Develop a Hosting Solution Design (including MS Outlook, Citrix, Network design, Active Directory, Hardware selection)
- Assist in Migration Planning of existing infrastructure to new hosting provider
- Undertake an Initial On-site Data centre assessment
- Vendor Management (existing providers, new hosting partner)
- Client Management (Shareholder (x2) & Business)
- Ensure Alignment with Tech Architecture for new solution components
- Supporting non-technical client Project manager
- Assisting on Test planning and test execution
- Manage the implementation of the new hosting arrangement
